Architect Design Specialist

About the role

Join the Sani/Ikos Group as an Architect Design Specialist and help shape the next generation of luxury family and beach resorts. You will work on concept development, feasibility studies, and master‑planning for new resort projects in Madrid and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Support creation of architectural concepts (Stages 1‑3), including site analysis, massing studies and hospitality planning for guestrooms, public spaces, wellness, F&B and back‑of‑house areas.
• Develop conceptual layouts, diagrams, presentations and architectural narratives that define circulation, spatial experience and design intent.
• Research hospitality trends, luxury benchmarks and emerging design approaches to inform product differentiation and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare visual documentation and present concepts to internal leadership and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Collaborate closely with interior design, delivery, sales, marketing and operations teams, as well as external consultants, to ensure smooth hand‑over to design development.
• Maintain high standards of creativity, presentation quality and design consistency across all projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture with at least 5 years of experience in hospitality architecture and concept design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating hospitality concept design and planning projects.
• Knowledge of hospitality planning principles and guest‑experience design, preferably in luxury projects.
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
