Art Director (On-Set) – Fashion & Imaging Studios

About the role
We are looking for a senior freelance Art Director to join our on‑set studio team in Barcelona. The role focuses on fashion and imaging advertising films, requiring full‑cycle storytelling from concept to shoot.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and visualise storyboards and shoot boards for commercial projects.
- Direct on‑set activities, collaborating closely with production, talent and camera crews.
- Lead creative decisions and ensure the visual language aligns with brand and campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects, maintaining quality and consistency across all deliverables.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience as a Director or Assistant Director on commercial advertising films.
- Strong background in fashion or imaging production environments.
- Ability to work independently on a freelance basis and start immediately.
- Portfolio that demonstrates successful ad‑film direction.

- Daily freelance rate of €320.
