Asset Manager – Energy Infrastructure (Data Centers)

About the role

The Asset Manager will be responsible for the lifecycle management, resilience and operational performance of critical electrical infrastructure across multiple data centre sites in Spain. You will work closely with engineering, operations, construction and external contractors to optimise performance, standardise assets and support future growth projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee asset management for HV lines, substations, transformers, MV/HV distribution, UPS/SAI systems and generators.
• Develop and optimise preventative and predictive maintenance plans for critical electrical assets.
• Create technical standards and normalisation strategies to improve spare management and interchangeability.
• Review external electrical designs, identifying opportunities to enhance resilience and redundancy.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incident and change processes, define SLAs/KPIs for external maintenance providers.
• Supervise on‑site technical work performed by third‑party contractors.
• Support construction, commissioning and delivery of new electrical infrastructure in live environments.
• Coordinate technical negotiations, contractor management and supplier homologation.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of high‑voltage infrastructure and mission‑critical electrical systems.
• Extensive experience in electrical asset management and maintenance strategy development.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical skills for design review and incident investigation.
