Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the delivery of an exceptional member and guest experience at our Barcelona Club. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all public and private areas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations in public spaces, member lounges, changing rooms, spa areas, and back‑of‑house.
• Supervise staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and create efficient rotas.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards.
• Respond promptly to guest and member requests, resolving housekeeping concerns courteously.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, amenities, and equipment, controlling costs and waste.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of housekeeping team members.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Events, and Maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold safety, appearance, and professionalism standards across the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience as a housekeeping supervisor or assistant manager.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, and passionate about customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team‑oriented with the capacity to work autonomously when required.
