Assistant Store Manager - ECI Preciados

About the role

Columbia Sportswear is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its ECI Preciados store in Madrid. As part of the Store Leadership Team, you will assist the Store Manager in running the store effectively, improving customer service, driving store sales and increasing profitability. You will also act as a role model and help build a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates
• Support plans to improve employee productivity and performance
• Help interview, hire, train and coach staff, and give day-to-day coaching so performance standards are met
• Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control and communication
• Help the Store Manager set action plans for store sales, goals, safety, training and personnel development

Required profile

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the position or specialization
• Ability to judge and solve day-to-day technical and operational problems
• Flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and according to local business trends

Required skills

• Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and other in-store computerized systems
• Telephone operation
• Clear communication with the store leadership team, associates and customers

The expected pay is 21,980 to 28,000 EUR for full-time positions, depending on market competitiveness, skills, experience and internal equity.
