Associate Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is looking for an Associate Electrophysiology (EP) Mapping Specialist to join its cardiac arrhythmia business in Alicante, Spain. The role provides clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the use of the Affera Mapping and Ablation System and the Pulse Select PFA over-the-wire ablation system, and assists clinical ablation procedures at each account in the Comunidad Valenciana and Murcia. You will report to the regional Sales Supervisor, travel across the region and be based in Alicante.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical and technical support to physicians and EP lab staff on the Affera Mapping and Ablation System, the Pulse Select PFA over-the-wire ablation system and the Arctic Front Advance Cryoablation system.
• Support product adoption through sales presentations, hands-on demonstrations, installations and ongoing support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted partner and resource.
• Stay up to date on company products and competitor offerings.
• Work with account teams and Sales Managers on territory reviews and strategic planning.
• Act as a liaison between sales teams and technical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Sales, Nursing or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in electrophysiology procedures and products.
• Background or experience in cardiology.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
• Valid driving licence with a clean record.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of 3D mapping systems is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills.
