Associate Global Site Contracts Manager - Spain

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Associate Global Site Contracts Manager based in Madrid. The role develops the global contracting strategy and supports the delivery of start-up contracting activities for selected sponsors, studies or multi-protocol programs, as required by the Sponsor. It is a professional individual contributor working under moderate supervision, dealing mainly with routine problems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of investigator grants and estimates, contracting strategies and proposal text to support proposal development.
• Develop contract language, payment language and budget templates as needed.
• Maintain contracting systems, tools, processes and training materials for selected sponsors, studies or multi-protocol programs.
• Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders and RSU regions and countries to deliver the agreed project scope in line with sponsor requirements and the RSU Management Plan.
• Provide specialist legal, operational and financial contracting support to Study Teams, helping initiate and maintain clinical trials while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Assist in creating and reviewing core scientific, technical and administrative documentation for business development and study initiation.
• Contribute to collecting, interpreting and sharing contracting intelligence for assigned studies and the wider company.
• Report contracting performance metrics and out-of-scope activities, and report on adherence to timelines and financial goals.
• Work with Quality Management to ensure contract management meets quality standards, mentor colleagues and deliver training materials, and give client presentations when required.
• Maintain internal systems (with emphasis on CTMS), databases, tracking tools, timelines and project plans; may build long-standing relationships with preferred clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of relevant sponsor or clinical research organization clinical site contracting experience, including demonstrable global and/or regional experience as a contract negotiator.
