Associate Project Manager - Clinical Trials

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is looking for an Associate Project Manager in Madrid to support the coordination and management of clinical trials within a sponsor-dedicated model. The role contributes to the design, analysis and advancement of treatments that benefit patients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project and programme management workstreams so that deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Assist project managers in planning, executing and monitoring clinical trials.
• Coordinate study activities such as site selection, patient recruitment and data collection.
• Support the development of study protocols, case report forms and other study documents.
• Take part in data analysis and interpretation to support decisions and regulatory submissions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical research or project management.
• Solid project and programme management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
