Automotive Program Buyer – Barcelona

About the role

We are seeking an Automotive Program Buyer to join a leading Tier‑1 supplier specialized in hard trim for the automotive sector. Based in Barcelona, you will support global projects and drive procurement activities across multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Select suppliers and manage the RFQ process.
• Negotiate part prices, tooling costs and ECRs.
• Coordinate purchasing functions at program level, including quality, tooling and commodity.
• Prepare consolidated reports and conduct milestone reviews.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business with a purchasing focus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar automotive purchasing role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive project management.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
