About the role
The Kitchen Assistant will support the culinary team in Barceló hotels located in the province of Alicante. This position ensures that the kitchen operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of hygiene, order, and food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
- Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
- Mix ingredients for various dishes.
- De‑feather poultry and chop meat.
- Scale fish and keep all kitchen utensils clean.
- Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.
Required profile
- Formal training: Medium‑level culinary and gastronomy cycle and a course in APPCC.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
- No language requirement.
- Preferred knowledge of the hospitality sector.
Required skills
- APPCC (food safety) knowledge.
