Ayudante de Cocina – Sustitución

About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to provide substitution support in our Barceló Emperatriz hotel kitchen. The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene and order while assisting the culinary team with daily food preparation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
• Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
• Mix ingredients for recipes.
• Pluck poultry and cut meat.
• Scale and clean fish.
• Keep kitchen tools and work areas clean.
• Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

• Education: Medium-level culinary training (Ciclo formativo de Grado Medio de Cocina y Gastronomía) and a course in APPCC.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar kitchen assistant role.
• Languages: Not required.
• Additional knowledge in hospitality is valued.
• Personal attributes: stress tolerance, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility and quick execution.

Required skills

• APPCC (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge.
