About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant (substitution) to support the culinary team at our Barceló hotel in Madrid. The role involves maintaining hygiene standards, preparing ingredients, and assisting in daily kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
Mix ingredients for recipes.
Pluck poultry and prepare meat.
Scale and clean fish.
Keep kitchen tools and utensils clean.
Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

Vocational training (Medium Level) in Cooking and Gastronomy.
Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen assistant role.
No language requirement.
Hospitality knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

Ability to work under stress.
Attention to detail.
Teamwork orientation.
Flexibility and quick execution of tasks.
