Ayudante de Recepción – Isla Canela

About the role

The Reception Assistant will support the front‑desk team at Barceló Isla Canela, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and providing excellent service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all documentation required for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of reception furniture and facilities.
• Answer incoming guest calls and handle external telephone inquiries.
• Perform currency exchange transactions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
• Provide guests with information and address any complaints.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar front‑desk role.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Adaptability, teamwork orientation, customer focus, communication skills and problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with reservation management systems.
