Backend & Full Stack Engineer (all genders)

About the role

Join BESTSECRET's growing tech hub in Málaga as a Backend / Full Stack Software Engineer. You will help build a modern, Kubernetes‑based supply platform that automates purchasing and article onboarding, enabling data‑driven, AI‑assisted decision‑making for internal buying teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the buying platform using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross‑functional teams (Tech, Buying, Business Intelligence) to deliver features in efficient release cycles.
• Support architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures such as Kafka and distributed systems.
• Experience with unit and integration testing and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Exposure to cloud platforms and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong command of English and a hands‑on, team‑oriented mindset.
