Big Data Developer – Data Lake & Market Risk

About the role

We are seeking a Big Data Developer to join our Agile team and design, develop, and evolve data lake solutions for Market Risk use cases. You will work with Spark, Scala, and SQL to build large‑scale data processing pipelines and ensure high‑quality data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data lake pipelines using Apache Spark, Scala and SQL.
• Orchestrate batch workflows and dependencies with Control‑M and Airflow.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, validation and publication processes for Market Risk use cases.
• Analyse and optimise performance, reliability and scalability of Spark‑based workloads.
• Support production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in Big Data, Data Lakes or cloud‑based data platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork.
• Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to technical challenges.
• Professional fluency in English (C1); Spanish is a plus.
