Business Analytics Lead

About the role

The Business Analytics Lead will drive the Group’s strategic and transformational initiatives by fostering a data‑driven culture and delivering high‑impact analytics and research projects. This senior position also leads a team of data and analytics professionals, positioning the group’s analytics function as a Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cross‑functional leadership for designing, executing, and synthesising research findings for strategic purposes, including surveys and primary/secondary research.
• Act as a change conduit by delivering workshops on analytics technologies, methods and techniques to broaden employee data literacy.
• Partner with management to refine analytics frameworks and mature the group’s analytics capability.
• Document business processes, capture business rules, and map end‑to‑end data flows.
• Oversee development of dashboards and KPIs that support decision‑making and transformational change.
• Facilitate creation of data capture forms/applications to improve strategic reporting and KPI monitoring.
• Conduct research to support current and target business models and produce Business Architecture artefacts such as capability maturity models and reference architectures.
• Analyse process data to enhance value streams and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management and SMEs to define analytical and data requirements.
• Lead special projects and respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative/analytical field.
• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or comparable disciplines.
• Proven experience leading data and analytics teams and delivering analytics solutions at an enterprise level.
• Strong ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to senior stakeholders.
