Business Capability Lead - Source-to-Pay

About the role

Roche's Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) is looking for a Business Capability Lead (BCL) based in Sant Cugat, Spain, to take strategic and operational ownership of key parts of the global Demand-to-Pay process. The role defines process governance, integrates complex interfaces across corporate ecosystems and acts as a change agent to accelerate adoption of myBuy, Roche's digital procurement platform. It reports directly to the Sourcing Lead and sits in the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy the DOP roadmap for myBuy in line with partners such as DIA Global Supply Chain and RSS Demand to Pay.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digitalization with Delivery, Category, Digital & Process Management and RSS Demand to Pay.
• Analyze and design solutions for process, system, performance indicator and data issues, and support data and rule definitions.
• Act as a delegate on major corporate initiatives such as the ASPIRE program, supporting global template adoption and evaluating local change impacts.
• Lead continuous improvement, manage global requirement alignment and work with other BCLs and Business Capability Owners.
• Lead the Business Capability Community of SMEs and represent DOP in communities and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Govern the development and delivery of global system process documentation and training materials.
• Resolve matrix conflicts and deliver monthly or quarterly KPI updates (cycle times, compliance) to the CoE leadership team.

Required profile

• University degree with a business or life sciences focus; a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) and professional certifications such as CIPS are highly preferred.
• Extensive experience designing, managing and improving complex business processes, including in the Demand-to-Pay landscape.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams and managing stakeholder groups without direct headcount authority.
• Self-organized, solution-oriented, with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Business-level English; German is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of procurement systems and enterprise architectures such as SAP S/4HANA and GEP Smart / GEP Nexxe.
• Advanced knowledge of AI applications and digital transformation (Digital 2.0 / Industry 4.0).
