Business Development Manager, Missions - Spain & Portugal

About the role

ICEYE is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its sovereign satellite and ISR missions across Spain and Portugal. This hands‑on commercial position will translate strategy into action, engaging government, defence and dual‑use stakeholders while maintaining a robust pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop commercial opportunities in the Iberian market.
• Engage ministries of defence, space agencies, ESA‑related bodies, prime contractors and industry associations.
• Support the VP of Missions Sales with customer follow‑up, meeting preparation, opportunity tracking and regional account activity.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including pipeline updates, meeting notes and next‑step actions.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering and internal experts to prepare bids, proposals and technical‑commercial responses.
• Coordinate ICEYE’s commercial presence at regional events and industry forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within defence, space or dual‑use sectors.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes in Spain and Portugal.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross‑functional team.
