Business Development Representative

About the role

Bill Gosling Outsourcing is seeking a Business Development Representative to capture deals that meet the company’s risk and profitability guidelines. The role involves daily interaction with customers and dealerships, providing product information, handling inquiries, and ensuring accurate customer records.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers via inbound/outbound calls, emails and other channels, updating account information as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with dealers, providing exceptional service and timely communication on credit processing questions.
• Communicate credit decisions within prescribed timelines and work with dealers to structure acceptable deals.
• Handle consumer objections, de‑escalate issues and refer complaints to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain accurate customer files in both French and English, adhering to regulatory and corporate guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a collections or sales role conducted over the phone.
• Experience in tier II customer support or customer retention is a strong asset.
• Ability to work full‑time from the office.
• Successful completion of high school education is preferred but not required.
