Buyer – Global Procurement Central Services (EMEA)

About the role

Amazon is expanding rapidly and seeks a French‑fluent Buyer to join the Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) EMEA team in Barcelona. You will support Fulfilment Centres, Amazon Transport Services and Quick Commerce networks by sourcing and managing non‑inventory goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and create purchase orders for non‑inventory materials based on demand forecasts.
• Coordinate truck deliveries, communicate delivery slots with suppliers, and ensure on‑time receipt at FC sites.
• Act as escalation point for internal and external stakeholders to resolve delivery issues.
• Process SIM tickets, manage invoice queries, and maintain supplier master data.
• Collaborate with Operations and Stores to mitigate space constraints and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Track procurement metrics such as cost savings, zero stock‑out, and Days of Cover.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide training to other cluster buyers.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (both written and spoken).
• Experience in procurement or supply‑chain environments, preferably with non‑inventory items.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with FC Stores Coordinators and suppliers.
