Buyer – Procurement Specialist (Temp Agency)

About the role

Airbus Operations in Getafe is looking for a Buyer to support sourcing, tendering and contract negotiation across the aerostructure portfolio. The role works within multifunctional teams to ensure optimal purchasing conditions and supplier performance throughout the product life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities, manage tenders and negotiate contracts to achieve best terms.
• Monitor contracts during innovation, development, serial production and support phases, ensuring compliance with logistics, quality, cost and support requirements.
• Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise value and minimise total cost of ownership.
• Participate in multifunctional teams throughout tendering, contracting and contract life‑cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Strong intercultural teamwork and project‑management capabilities.
• Effective negotiator with solid commercial, contractual and legal awareness.
• Good knowledge of financial key indicators and the aerostructure market.
• Excellent communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders; fluent English for negotiations.
