About the role

Barceló Group is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of guest rooms and public areas at its hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning materials, products, tools and equipment for each shift.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures and amenities.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish linens, toiletries, minibar items and other supplies.
• Inspect rooms for damages and report any defects.
• Assist guests during their stay, handle complaints, fulfill reasonable requests and process lost‑and‑found items according to protocol.
• Collect used linens and send them to laundry, restock cleaning carts and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Basic education (ESO or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork spirit and strong sense of order and quality.
• Motivation, responsibility and good organizational skills.
