About the role

Join the hospitality team at Hotel Occidental Puerto Banus, part of the Barceló Group, as a waiter. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sale of food and beverages.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Provide direct assistance to customers during food and beverage consumption.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain and prepare work areas and tools required for efficient service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) with HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar waiter or food‑service role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Preferred knowledge of mixology, restaurant operations, and general hospitality.
• Strong teamwork, stress tolerance, agility, and a polished personal image.
