Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Tech Scale‑up

About the role

We are an international technology scale‑up operating in the industrial and infrastructure sector, experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function during a critical phase focused on profitability, scaling, and a potential exit.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the financial strategy aligned with growth and profitability objectives.
• Develop advanced financial models, scenario planning, and key business metrics to support decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes for management and investors.
• Implement and optimise financial processes, internal controls and systems suitable for a scaling environment.
• Co‑lead equity and debt funding activities and manage investor relations.
• Prepare and execute corporate transactions (M&A, exit), including valuation, due diligence and negotiations.
• Oversee cash management, financial risk and funding structure.
• Build and lead a lean finance team and coordinate with external advisors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and strong corporate governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in high‑growth (startup or scale‑up) environments, preferably with international exposure.
• Track record of fundraising and managing institutional investor relationships.
• Experience in M&A processes and/or exit transactions.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, modelling and business metrics.
• Hands‑on mindset with ability to combine strategic vision and operational execution.
• High credibility with investors, board members and key stakeholders.
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant certifications a plus.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
