Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Renewable Energy

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing international player in solar photovoltaic projects across Europe. Reporting to the executive board, the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for steering global operations, aligning teams with strategic goals, and delivering strong business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across all business units and geographic locations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Drive operational efficiency, scalability and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics, budgets and reporting processes.
• Support executive leadership in strategic decision‑making and growth initiatives.
• Strengthen internal processes, governance and organizational structures.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders and key partners.
• Lead and develop international management teams.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record managing international operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands‑on, execution‑oriented and solution‑driven mindset.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across international locations.
