Circularity & Product Sustainability Manager

About the role

Würth Elektronik eiSos is looking for a Circularity & Product Sustainability Manager to drive sustainable product design and compliance across its electronic component portfolio. Working full‑time or part‑time in Munich, you will act as the central link between product management, development, purchasing, quality, IT and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate sustainability, EU regulatory and circularity requirements into existing and new products.
• Develop methods, guidelines and evaluation criteria for sustainable materials and product design.
• Coordinate regulatory requirements (ESPR, CEAP, PPWR) and conduct fit‑gap analyses.
• Lead the Digital Product Passport initiative, structuring product data and aligning stakeholders.
• Establish audit‑proof processes, governance structures and documentation for product data and material transparency.
• Raise awareness and provide training on sustainability, circular economy and regulatory topics.

Required profile

• Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Strong interest or experience in sustainability, product development, circularity or packaging.
• Knowledge of EU regulations such as ESPR, CSRD, ESRS, CEAP or PPWR is a plus.
