City Operations Manager

About the role

Zoomo is seeking a City Operations Manager to lead its Madrid operations, overseeing the daily performance of its e‑bike fleet and retail outlets. You will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑moving, sustainability‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own market‑level KPIs for financial and operational performance, including P&L, customer growth, retention and revenue.
• Motivate, coach and develop a mixed team of front‑of‑house retail staff, mechanics and field operators while fostering a positive culture.
• Design and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives aligned with market trends.
• Maintain high‑quality customer service standards and embed customer‑centric values across the team.
• Ensure compliance with operational SOPs, health‑and‑safety guidelines and conduct continuous process improvements.
• Manage inventory, stock levels and labour scheduling to support daily operations.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Business Management or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations or retail management, with proven leadership of a team.
• Demonstrated experience in sales or marketing.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset with an ownership mentality.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with mechanics, office staff and external partners.
