Civil Project Manager – EPC Projects in Mozambique

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead EPC projects on our Afungi site in Mozambique. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and safety requirements while coordinating internal teams, contractors, JV partners, and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project from engineering design through construction and close‑out.
• Define and control Project Driving Quantities (PDQ) and develop execution strategies with the Project Director.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and security standards.
• Supervise planning, scheduling, and risk‑mitigation plans.
• Manage relationships with demanding international clients and oversee contract administration, claims, and variations.
• Control project profitability through cost and revenue monitoring.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering.
• 3–4 years in construction supervision or project planning & control.
• Proven track record on EPC projects in complex international environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in an international setting.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
