Clinical Research Associate II / Senior CRA (Spanish, Portuguese & English)

About the role

Ergomed is a specialist clinical research organisation focused on rare disease and select oncology indications, partnering with small to midsize biotech companies on early-phase trials. It is looking for a Clinical Research Associate II / Senior CRA based in Madrid, working on-site or remotely, to monitor clinical studies in Spain and Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-study, initiation, interim and close-out monitoring visits on-site or remotely in Spain and Portugal, ensuring facilities and staff remain adequate for the study.
• Identify investigators and verify they have the qualifications, resources, facilities, equipment and staff needed to run the study.
• Train investigational site staff as necessary.
• Support the preparation of regulatory and/or EC submissions when applicable.

Required profile

• College or university degree in Life Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive on-site monitoring experience in phase 2/3 trials, ideally including complex trials such as oncology or rare disease.
• Full working proficiency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Ability to travel.
