Clinical Research Project Manager – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

About the role
VHIR is looking for a Clinical Research Project Manager to join its Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Group. The role focuses on coordinating innovative national and international projects in biomechanics, AI‑driven rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation and pain research.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and support research proposals on technology‑enabled neurorehabilitation, biomechanics and pain.
- Coordinate clinicians and research staff for data collection, documentation and database management.
- Analyse data, contribute to internal reports, grant applications and scientific publications.
- Prepare scientific documents, technical reports and grant proposals.
- Present findings at national and international conferences and participate in research networks.
- Manage EU grant deliverables, consortium reporting and compliance with GDPR, MDR/IVDR and ethics.
- Define project scope, milestones and timelines; oversee budgets, resources and revenue forecasting.
- Identify risks, evaluate changes and implement mitigation strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Master in Project Management desirable).
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English.
- Minimum 3 years experience in research groups and project coordination.
- Track record of contributions to scientific publications and conference abstracts.
- Strong analytical, organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Interest in innovation, technology, biomechanics and artificial intelligence applied to rehabilitation.
