Clinical Sales Associate - da Vinci Surgical Systems

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer and market leader in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for a da Vinci Clinical Sales Associate in A Coruña. The role helps maximize the utilization of installed da Vinci Surgical Systems and supports the development of surgical robotics programs in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the clinical sales plan defined by the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager to drive utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System.
• Become a da Vinci Surgery expert across core indications for the region.
• Support regional Sales and Marketing events that raise system awareness and encourage procedure adoption.
• Develop a da Vinci plan for each surgical team so they can use the system independently within a reasonable time frame, based on their volume and access.
• Drive utilization by working with surgical teams to review and select appropriate cases and ensure consistent use of the system.
• Expand the user base by building a qualified lead funnel with key hospital staff and surgeon thought leaders, with support from the Clinical Sales Manager.
• Lead surgical teams through training sessions on system operations, OR integration and da Vinci applications.
• Provide case support and guidance on the use of the da Vinci Surgical System.
• Manage administrative tasks such as reporting sales and procedures, outcomes of sales activities and expense reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years in support and training in the medical device industry, or two years of prior healthcare sales experience.
• Successful experience as sales support or in sales.
• Fluent in English and the local language as required.
• Up to 70% travel and/or field presence, depending on business needs.
• Knowledge of the operating room environment preferred.
