Clinical Trial Associate I

About the role

Allucent, a global full-service contract research organization, is looking for a Clinical Trial Associate I to join its Madrid team. The CTA acts as the primary administrative support to Allucent's clinical study teams at country and site level, supporting Clinical Trial Operations and sponsors so that trials are conducted in line with international and local regulations, Good Clinical Practice and standard operating procedures. The role is fully office-based, five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• eTMF: perform quality checks of documents before submission, submit country and site documents to the eTMF inbox, resolve rejections, follow up on periodic QC findings, update the Expected Documents List and maintain public folders according to the study correspondence plan.
• ISF/PSF: prepare and distribute Investigator Site Files and Pharmacy Site Files for site initiation visits, maintain QC and inventory checklists, reconcile ISF/PSF with eTMF and help prepare for inspections.
• Other duties: update and maintain site-level CTMS, prepare and distribute clinical trial supplies to sites, track supplies, and possibly take part in feasibility and site identification activities.
• Provide local support for investigator meetings or other study meetings held in the country.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred.
• At least 1 year as a CTA trainee or 2 years in a similar clinical research role preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice, Good Documentation Practices and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of the clinical monitoring process.
