Cocinero/a – Cocina de Resort

About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at the Barceló Teguise Beach resort. The successful candidate will prepare dishes according to the established menu sheets, support the Head Chef and ensure smooth daily operations in a 4‑ and 5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the rotating menu.
• Maintain kitchen functionality and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Carry out cleaning, preservation, cooking, reheating and restocking of food items.
• Receive and store food supplies according to established standards.
• Comply with safety, hygiene and current legislation in all tasks.

Required profile

• Higher‑level culinary training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior in Cooking and Gastronomy) and HACCP course.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar kitchen position.
• No language requirement.
• Team‑oriented, creative, able to work under pressure and solve unexpected issues.

Required skills

• APPCC (HACCP) knowledge.
