Cocinero/a para Hotel Barceló en Cáceres

About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at our Barceló hotel in Cáceres. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure high‑quality food preparation and smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare recipes according to technical sheets and the established menu cycle.
• Maintain the proper functioning of the kitchen and support the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and replenishment of food items.
• Receive and store food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and legislative requirements in daily tasks.

Required profile

• Higher‑level training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; Spanish is sufficient.
• Knowledge of the hospitality sector is valued.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance and meticulous work style.
