Commercial & Financial Controller

About the role

Insud Pharma is seeking a Commercial & Financial Controller to join its Madrid team. This high‑impact position combines commercial controlling, financial analysis and cross‑functional coordination across international entities within a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales, pricing, margins and profitability by country, customer and product.
• Perform price reconciliations in tender and non‑tender environments.
• Identify budget and forecast deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Execute monthly consolidated financial closing based on submissions from international entities.
• Lead budget and forecast processes in line with group requirements.
• Support entities during financial planning and consolidate financial information.
• Analyze Capex projects and R&D investments, monitoring commitments and evaluating returns.
• Monitor structural costs, detect inconsistencies and define corrective actions.
• Ensure alignment with corporate deadlines, policies and ad‑hoc requirements.
• Maintain and promote correct use of finance systems and reporting tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in commercial and financial controlling, with solid expertise in pricing and margin management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting and financial coordination across multiple entities.
• Proven ability to detect inconsistencies, propose improvements and support decision‑making.
