Construction Project Manager, EMEA Construction

About the role

As a Construction Project Manager you will join Amazon’s Data Center Construction team, overseeing the delivery of new data centre facilities across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for the full construction lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule, and budget for new data centre builds and capital projects.
• Manage the bidding, award, execution, and close‑out phases with general contractors and vendors.
• Lead negotiations, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with all commercial and contractual terms.
• Create detailed construction scopes, request for proposals (RFPs), and capital request documentation.
• Perform financial analysis of construction work, including change orders and purchase orders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams covering civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction management for large‑scale, technically complex facilities.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems in data centre environments.
• Ability to drive projects from constructability studies through to successful handover.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
