Consultant/Manager – Procurement Operations Strategy

About the role

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking experienced professionals to join its Operations Practice, focusing on procurement strategy. As a Consultant or Consulting Manager you will own end‑to‑end project responsibilities, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and help shape transformational change across supply‑chain and procurement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BCG and client project teams to design and implement procurement strategies.
• Lead modules or work‑streams independently, providing deep expertise in procurement and operations.
• Support case teams that require hands‑on, technical procurement knowledge.
• Validate analyses, conduct sanity checks, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Educate clients on emerging technologies, methodologies, and tools that add value to their operations.

Required profile

• 5–12 years of professional experience in industry roles or consulting.
• Proven track record applying procurement knowledge to solve business problems.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work autonomously within a team.
