Control Systems Engineer – Innovative Automation Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join Bosch Rexroth’s automation team. The role involves designing, developing, testing and commissioning advanced control solutions for mobile and industrial hydraulic machinery. You will act as the technical backbone for sales and customers, ensuring feasibility, quality and compliance with engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into innovative control system designs and provide application advice.
• Design, develop, test and commission control systems, managing small‑to‑mid size projects and performing risk assessments.
• Maintain engineering quality standards, create documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Support component selection, perform field commissioning and produce hand‑over documentation.
• Travel domestically and internationally to install systems and provide customer support.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with industrial controller programming (CODESYS IEC 61131‑3).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on functional safety.
• Project management experience and ability to mentor junior engineers.
