About the role

Join the culinary team at Renaissance Barcelona and help deliver high‑quality dishes to our guests. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking a variety of menu items while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook foods according to recipes, presentation standards and food‑preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness and ensure correct temperatures.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen area.
• Follow all company safety, security and food‑safety policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.

• Operating kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers).
• Food preparation and portion control.
• Food safety and sanitation practices.
