Cook – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at its La Nucía property. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and contributing to the smooth operation of a high‑standard hotel kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the rotating menu.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets the Head Chef’s standards.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies according to established procedures.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene, and current legislation.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior).
• APPCC/HACCP certification or course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Team‑oriented attitude, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving ability, and meticulous work habits.

Required skills

• Food safety management (APPCC/HACCP).
