Cook – Occidental Pueblo Acantilado

About the role

Barceló Group is seeking a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at Occidental Pueblo Acantilado in Alicante. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and deliver high‑quality dishes according to the established menu.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes following the technical sheets of the rotating menu.
• Maintain kitchen efficiency and support the Head Chef in daily operations.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management, and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, food preservation, cooking, reheating, and restocking procedures.
• Receive and store food supplies according to established standards and orders.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and legal regulations in the workplace.

Required profile

• Higher‑level culinary training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior in Cooking and Gastronomy) and HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• No language requirement.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving ability, and meticulous work habits.

Required skills

• APPCC (HACCP) food safety knowledge.
