Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

2M Engineering is seeking an on‑site Automotive Customer Quality Engineer to act as the primary liaison between customers, production, and internal quality teams. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, handling customer feedback, and supporting continuous improvement within a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints and non‑conformities, ensuring timely resolution.
• Lead root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams.
• Define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and prepare regular quality reports.
• Support internal and external audits, as well as customer visits.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to validate new products and processes.
• Update and maintain quality documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer quality with experience handling feedback, complaints, and quality communication.
• Proficiency in quality control and product quality, including inspection methods and component validation.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience supporting audits.
• Automotive industry experience, preferably with VW Group.
• Solid analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in a customer‑facing quality role.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities; organized and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to work fully on‑site and interact directly with production and engineering teams.
