About the role
Join HP Cybersecurity as a Threat Detection & Response Engineer, protecting HP’s enterprise environment from sophisticated cyber attacks. You will work on real‑time incident analysis, threat hunting, and remediation to keep the organization secure.
Key responsibilities
- Scope the extent and impact of security incidents across the HP environment.
- Analyze and resolve security issues through independent research and investigation.
- Support incident escalation, assess damage, and develop remediation actions.
- Conduct threat‑hunting activities to identify known or emerging TTPs.
- Run analyses on security incidents, research counter‑measures, and contribute to improving threat‑response programs.
Required profile
- 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Proven ability to develop threat‑hunting hypotheses and test them on security platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital forensics and malware analysis techniques.
- Continuous growth mindset with curiosity to ask “why?”.
