Data Engineering & Visualization Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineering & Visualization Intern to join Zurich’s Technology Delivery Center in Barcelona. You will work on AI‑enhanced data pipelines and visualisation solutions, collaborating with experts across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on projects integrating AI capabilities such as Claude Code into development workflows.
• Develop and deploy reusable AI assets and tools to simplify AI adoption.
• Ensure AI integrations follow Zurich’s internal standards and governance.
• Work alongside experts in software development, data analytics and cybersecurity.
• Gain hands‑on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes and visualisation tools.
• Contribute ideas and creativity to the team’s initiatives.

Required profile

• Active student at a Spanish university.
• Passionate about a technology career and available for at least six months (part‑time).
• Tech‑savvy, curious and eager to learn.
• Team player with a responsible, can‑do attitude.
• Interest in AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Basic knowledge of Python or SQL and awareness of version control (Git).
