Data Scientist – Applied AI Labs

About the role

INSUD PHARMA’s AI Labs is looking for an Applied Data Scientist to join its Data Science team in Madrid. You will work on diverse, high‑impact problems across R&D, drug manufacturing optimisation, clinical trials and more, turning complex data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads (Product Manager, Engineer, stakeholders) to define problem framing and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and drive hypothesis generation.
• Design, develop, and deploy models using graph theory, embeddings, neural network forecasting, causality analysis and Bayesian optimisation.
• Present findings in regular demo days and whiteboard sessions, ensuring transparent communication of methodology and impact.
• Maintain a fast‑moving, startup‑like culture while adhering to rigorous scientific standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in data science and machine learning.
• Curiosity to tackle varied challenges in pharma and biotech domains.
• Ability to justify methodological choices and work independently.
• Experience delivering models from prototype to production in a collaborative environment.
