Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Huspy’s fast‑growing PropTech team. You will develop and operationalize machine‑learning models that power our real‑estate market platform and improve key business metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine real‑estate market models for valuation and pricing using supervised and advanced ML techniques.
• Create multimodal embeddings that combine images, text, and structured data to enable search, matching, deduplication, and recommendation.
• Extract, clean, and analyse data with SQL and Python; design experiments and evaluate model impact with robust metrics.
• Ship models to production, implementing monitoring, automated roll‑out and CI/CD in partnership with engineering.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of applied data‑science or machine‑learning experience delivering models that move real‑world KPIs.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including Pandas, NumPy and Scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience with MLOps: model deployment, versioning, CI/CD basics, observability and reproducible training.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and ability to scope, prioritize and explain trade‑offs.
• Comfortable handling data‑quality issues, leakage risks and market dynamics such as seasonality and inventory shifts.
• Academic background in a STEM field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s a plus).
