Developer Community Specialist

About the role

The Developer Community Specialist will act as the bridge between technical users and internal product teams, fostering a vibrant global developer ecosystem. Based in Spain, you will work in a distributed environment, engaging with developers across multiple online platforms and organizing community initiatives that drive product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and nurture relationships on Discord, Reddit, forums, and other community channels.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute webinars, office hours, contests, workshops, giveaways, and educational events.
• Communicate product updates, feature releases, and announcements to keep the community informed.
• Support developers throughout onboarding, platform usage, best practices, monetization, and troubleshooting.
• Collect feedback and community sentiment, delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor community health metrics and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Developer Relations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Social Media teams.
• Assist in organizing regional meetups, conferences, and in‑person events when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience building, managing, or moderating online communities with measurable impact.
• Hands‑on experience with community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, or Discourse.
• Strong project ownership and ability to manage initiatives from concept to completion.
• Excellent written English communication skills tailored to technical audiences.
• Genuine interest in technology, developer tools, AI, or software development.
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
