Developer Portal & Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Developer Portal & Community Manager to lead the documentation and community experience for a highly technical open‑hardware product. Based in Spain, you will own the public developer portal, turn complex engineering work into clear, accessible content, and act as the bridge between internal teams and the global developer community.

Key responsibilities

• Own, structure, and continuously improve the Developer Portal as the single source of truth for external contributors.
• Translate internal engineering discussions, technical updates, and product changes into clear public documentation.
• Maintain wiki pages, GitHub repositories, and other developer‑facing resources across multiple sub‑projects.
• Participate in engineering meetings to stay aligned with development direction.
• Moderate community contributions, issues, and pull requests to ensure quality and constructive collaboration.
• Collect feedback from the developer community and relay insights to internal teams.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication with a proven track record of producing technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of software development workflows, including Git, branches, commits, and pull requests.
• Ability to break down complex technical concepts into simple, structured explanations.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers across hardware and software domains.
• Organizational mindset focused on clarity and information architecture.
