DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimise cloud‑native infrastructure for high‑availability digital platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on automation, scalability and operational excellence across modern cloud ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable Kubernetes environments on AWS and/or GCP.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm and Ansible.
• Build, optimise and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting systems to proactively resolve issues.
• Support critical infrastructure components such as PostgreSQL databases and Kafka clusters.
• Automate operational tasks with Python and Bash scripts.
• Troubleshoot production incidents across cloud, containerised and distributed environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and platform reliability.
• Contribute to security, scalability and best‑practice standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide production support when required.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced understanding of Docker and containerisation.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Helm and Ansible.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus).
