DevOps Engineering Manager

About the role

We are hiring on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company to lead and scale their cloud automation and deployment strategy. As the DevOps Engineering Manager you will head a distributed team of 15 engineers, driving automation, reliability and performance across all environments. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines strategy, implementation and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed DevOps team across multiple regions.
• Define and execute DevOps/DevSecOps strategy aligned with business goals.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Drive operational excellence, performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Establish a Community of Practice to share and promote DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years in DevOps or development roles, including 2+ years in team leadership.
• Strong background in CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud automation (Azure preferred).
• Proven experience with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Azure Pipelines.
• Passion for innovation, collaboration, and modern engineering practices.
